BarrierTrace supports accessibility assurance. It does not replace disabled-user research, expert judgement, manual testing or legal advice, and it will never hide that distinction. Automated scanning uses the open-source GOVTNZ CWAC scanner, including axe-core checks. BarrierTrace is independently developed and is not endorsed by the New Zealand Government.
