Accessibility is part of how we build BarrierTrace.

Scope and target

This statement covers the public website at barriertrace.com and the BarrierTrace web application, including its public demonstration. External websites linked from BarrierTrace are outside this scope.

Our target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. The authenticated application and public website have different workflows and are assessed separately where necessary.

Current conformance status

BarrierTrace has not yet completed a full WCAG conformance evaluation or independent accessibility audit. Its current conformance status is therefore not assessed, and we do not claim that every page and workflow fully conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

Automated checks alone cannot establish conformance. Our evaluation approach will include keyboard use, screen-reader behaviour, zoom and reflow, visible focus, form interaction and complete user journeys alongside automated testing.

Measures we take

• Use semantic HTML and labelled page regions.
• Provide visible keyboard focus and a skip link.
• Support responsive layouts and reduced-motion preferences.
• Include accessibility checks in development and release testing.
• Record confirmed barriers and improvement work as product issues.
• Keep automated results separate from verified manual evidence.

Known limitations

A complete manual and assistive-technology evaluation has not yet been completed, so barriers may remain, particularly in complex or changing application workflows. We will publish confirmed limitations and practical alternatives here as they are identified.

The accessibility of customer-supplied website content, evidence and external links cannot be guaranteed by BarrierTrace. This does not reduce our responsibility for the accessibility of the BarrierTrace interface itself.

This statement was prepared through self-evaluation and review of the product’s current development controls. It will be updated after material accessibility evaluations, confirmed limitations or significant product changes.
